Job Description: Operations Coordinator

Monday - Friday |14:00 - 22:00 | 2nd Shift

Department: Operations Job Status: Full-Time Reports to: Shift Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for coordinating the movement of trailers within the warehouse and shuttles to the sub-warehouse. This role is responsible for carrying Carter’s logistics strategy and making sure that the appropriate staffing and equipment are in place.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitating cross-channel feedback from customer and employees to management
• Ensuring that all activities conform to company standardized processes
• Observing, reviewing and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
• Identifying and resolving any problems in the workflow process

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior dispatch, route management and/or dispatching experience is a plus. Working knowledge in logistics and manufacturing is preferred. Must be able to work independently and effectively communicate within all levels of the organization. Must be highly organized, responsible, and dependable in order to problem solve and work in high pressure situations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook email required. Knowledge of TMW software is a plus. Must have the ability to learn new programs as necessary.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is an office position.
